Avengers: Doomsday Posters And Promo Art See Worlds Collide Against Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom

Newly revealed promo art and posters for Avengers: Doomsday put the spotlight on the Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes, the "supreme" Doctor Doom, and his mysterious Latverian Witches.

As we get closer to the release of Avengers: Doomsday in theaters this December, we can expect plenty of merchandise and promo art for what will likely be the year's biggest movie (Spider-Man: Brand New Day may have something to say about that, of course).

After months of seeing the same old shot of Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, we finally have a new look at him and the Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes.

Along with new imagery of Victor Von Doom, never-before-seen pieces depict the Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Avengers, as well as characters like Mystique, Thor, and The Thing. Unsurprisingly, the focus remains on the heroes announced during last March's chair reveal, and not any "surprise" additions such as Chris Evans' Steve Rogers or rumoured fan-favourites Deadpool and Wolverine.

It's also interesting to see which characters aren't featured, including The Sentry and the lesser-known members of the New Avengers. That was perhaps to be expected, but in contrast, there's a lot of Marvel's First Family.

There's been no mention of plans for a sequel to The Fantastic Four: First Steps, so their role in the next Saga of storytelling is a mystery to us.

"I will say this: there are clues in Endgame, things that are said, that will pay off in Doomsday," filmmaker Joe Russo recently teased. "So if you want to go back and revisit the movie again – not the new footage but lines that are said in the movie – [there are some] that have an impact on Doomsday."

Addressing the movie's stakes, he added, "It’s the most profound thing that's ever happened to the MCU. It is the perceived end of times. Everything the TVA was set up to do is to protect the timelines from collapsing, and now they're in a catastrophic collapse."

Check out this new Avengers: Doomsday promo art in the X posts below.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, along with X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden, plus Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron has also been enlisted to refine the story, alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.

Cool how the world’s collide piece is reminiscent to one of the X-men 1 covers. Definitely on purpose.

That’s a lot of really cool & well done promo art imo…

However , the one used for the banner image of this article is my favorite of them since it really gives me Marc Silvestri or the Kubert brothers vibes in terms of the art style!!.
