The Batman 2 Set Videos May Hint At Brian Tyree Henry's Role; Possible [Spoiler] Confirmation

We have some additional photos and videos from the Liverpool set of The Batman - Part II, along with a new report that may confirm a certain sinister, shadowy organization will factor into the sequel's story.

The videos show Jeffrey Wright and Brian Tyree Henry's stand-ins on a bridge surrounded by GCPD vehicles and ambulances. A recent rumor claimed that Henry, not Sebastian Stan, had been cast as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

These posts don't confirm his character's identity, but they do indicate that he is working with Jim Gordon, at the very least. Of course, this could also mean that Henry is playing Harvey Bullock!

We also have a report from YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies, who has shared some accurate scoops in the past. His source claims to have seen "people moving between sets dressed in suits wearing owl masks."

A recent production listing revealed that the sequel's updated working title is "Semper Vigilans." This translates to "Always Vigilant" or "Ever Watchful," and fuelled speculation that the movie will indeed introduce the Court of Owls.

In the comics, the nursery rhyme associated with the villainous group: “Beware The Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadowed perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed, speak not a whispered word of them, or they'll send the Talon for your head.”

Rumors are circulating that Stan will actually play twisted serial killer Victor Zsasz, while Scarlett Johansson is set to portray a "serial killer obsessed with plants, who uses toxins to carry out her crimes" (almost certainly a take on Poison Ivy). Her main target is said to be Charles Dance's character, "the leader of a secret organization made up of the most powerful figures in the city" (the Court of Owls, no doubt).

If Johansson is playing a version of Pamela Isley, it may lend credence to another recent rumor that DC Studios is developing a live-action Poison Ivy series set in the same universe as The Batman movies and HBO's The Penguin.

After several previous delays, The Batman - Part II was scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 1, 2027, but was recently pushed back to February 18, 2028.

the constant delays suck... but this movie will be worth it once it arrives after Reeves has finished cooking. I can't wait for this movie. Hoping for some pleasant surprises in this movie that aren't spoiled beforehand

The character played by Charles Dance is the one inside the ambulance. My theory is that during a masquerade ball, Gotham's elite are killed in an attack secretly planned by Dance.

Dance is wounded, and that's how he gets his way out: an ambulance.
