Avengers Academy is a Marvel Comics comic book series that debuted in June 2010 as part of the "Heroic Age". The series is written by Christos Gage, with artwork by Mike McKone and tells the story of a group of young super-powered persons who were selected to join a training academy for the super-hero team, The Avengers.

In the wake of Dark Reign, it was discovered that Norman Osborn had manipulated several young super-powered people for his own purposes. Six of these teens are now placed in a program called the Avengers Academy located in the Infinite Avengers Mansion, headed by Henry Pym, with Tigra, Justice, Speedball, and Quicksilver as teachers. They say the purpose is to teach these youths how to become heroes. However, the students soon discover that they were selected because their profiles indicate they are the ones most likely to become villains

With Earth's "Scientist Supreme" as headmaster and former evil mutant, Avenger and two former members of Young Warriors as instructors, there is no wonder why they have faced villains such as Absorbing Man, Arsenal, Psycho Man and The Thunderbolts. They have potential in these years to come and a live action movie would be a great step for new heroes for the next generation.

Oh, nice, someone started doing Avengers Academy! Well, let me have a look see.

- I love the unknowns you used. David Henrie isn't too bad an actor (I don't watch Wizards of Fagerly Place), and it's nice to see you're giving one of the kids from Dexter some work (although I like Jessica Stroup as Finesse, since she can nail the intelligence factor more). However, Hazmat is an Asian-American girl, and Jodelle might be anything but.
- Even if Ben Foster could definitely do Quicksilver, he already was in an X-Men film, so he can't do a new character.
- Ooh! I like Haley Joel Osment. Finally, he made it onto a fancast. I think he can do Speedball's comedic personality the best.
- I think your choice for Justice might be too old, but then again, aren't the New Warriors in their 30's during the Heroic Age? I also am a fan of JTT since The Lion King days, so another thumbs up for using another famous child star.
- Well, obviously, Kane is visually on point for Absorbing Man, and it's not like we need a good actor, so I'll tip a glass in your favor.
- I could see Mark Wahlberg as Tony Masters.
- Tommy Lee Jones is probably too old for Norman Osborn, plus he already did play a Marvel Comics character. Who knows, I could be wrong, he practically played Green Goblin in Batman Forever.

All in all, a great cast.

@dog-I forgot that Foster was in X2. How could i do such a thing. I picked Jones because I want to see him in a epic memorable villainous role before he gets too old. We all know Hollywood can play around with ages of actors, most aren't what the seem anyways. Ferland is just a great mean actress Case 39 was her best stuff so far.I'll get on that Foster thing

Thank God. I was worrying you were gonna come with the B.S. excuse that it wouldn't matter. I don't mind actors who did CBM movies to do another role, just not in the same universe he started with.

Well, I was gonna say that Tommy Lee Jones was cast as Norman Osborn over at SHH for someone's Dark Avengers dream cast. He does look like Osborn, so I can't say anything disparaging.

I didn't hear good things about Case 39. But I can't really go further, because I haven't seen it. Still, Hazmat is Asian, consider that. ;-)
