Not so unexpected, but still good to know if you wanna save some money this summer blockbuster season. Get either $10 in movie cash when you buy any previous Spider-Man title on blu-ray ($9.99 each), or $5 in Movie cash when you buy Batman Begins or The Dark Knight on blu-ray ($9.99 each).

Also, if you enjoyed this year's comedy film incarnation of the classic 1980's TV hit, 21 Jump Street, when you buy the blu-ray edition at Best Buy, you can get an exclusive whistle AND bottle opener!

Nifty! Great marketing tactic, Best Buy! Can't wait to get my hands on that amazing exclusive item! Makes me wanna run right out there and get it right now!

They have this at walmart too. Buy any of the last 3 spider-man films on blu-ray & you get $10 off a ticket for TASM. For The Dark Knight Rises, you get $5 off a ticket if you buy Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Matrix, or Blade: Trinity on Blu-Ray.

The $5 towards tickets on Batman Begins & Dark Knight show how desperate WB is for money from TDKR. Movies I purchased on Blu-ray just to get free tickets this summer include Taken ($10 for Prometheus), Men in Black & Men in Black 2 ($10 each for MIB3), Spider-Man & Spider-Man 2 ($10 each for Amazing Spider-Man). The only conclusion I can see as to why WB is only offering $5 is because they don't feel they can loose any more on the ticket sales.
