"You're making me angry... You won't like me when I'm angry..."

This is a fan cast for the jolly green giant himself, the Incredible Hulk! I loved the 2008 film starring Edward Norton and really enjoy the 1970’s television show. I also think that Mark Ruffalo is going to hit Bruce Banner out of the ballpark in a way we’ve never seen before and I look forward to The Avengers! This however is who I would put in a film, and I tried to be as original as possible!

Reason For Casting: Hugh Dancy is a marvelous actor who has been in films like Black Hawk Down, Young Blades, and King Arthur. He is also in a wonderful film called Adam which I highly recommend. With these roles, he proves he can take on action roles as well as roles that involve an emotional toil, as would be required for the tragic Bruce Banner.

Reason For Casting: Rebecca Hall has only been in a few films, like Frost/Nixon, Everything Must Go, and The Town. She is a pretty awesome actress, and enjoyed her performance in The Town and felt she would be perfect for the role of the tortured Banner’s lover.

Reason For Casting: Jim Sturgess stars in one of my favorite films, Across the Universe. He is also in 21. I think Sturgess is a solid actor and going to be incredibly popular in a few years, and I think he would have no trouble pulling off Rick Jones.

Reason For Casting: As much I as liked The Incredible Hulk, and as much as I like Ty Burrell (Modern Family is one of my favorite shows, ever!), I felt like the role of Doc Samson was wildly miscast. I understand that it was closer to Doc Samson’s earlier appearances, before he gained powers, but I had trouble believing that Ty Burrell would (hopefully) turn into the super powered Doc Samson in a future film.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar is best known to audiences as Zack Morris on Saved by the Bell. However, in recent years he has also gone to star in the television series Franklin & Bash. I think that Gosselaar has shown enough maturity as well as youthful enough to pull off Doc Samson.

Reason For Casting: I’ve seen a few fan casts with Stana Katic as She-Hulk, but I think Lake Bell perfectly embodies her. She has been in the films No Strings Attached and A Good Old Fashion Orgy. I think she’s funny enough to bring out Jennifer Walters’ humorous side, as well as able to show her vulnerable, inward, isolated self.

Reason For Casting: Tom Selleck is a great actor, from his days on the T.V. series Magnum, P.I. to today, starring in Blue Bloods. He isn’t seen as a villain in pretty much anything, but I think he’s a good enough actor to bring out General Ross’ obsessive, menacing side.

Reason For Casting: Andrew Scott plays one of the most villainous literary mastermind of them all: Moriarty in BBC’s television series Sherlock. He is a brilliant actor who I enjoy seeing as Jim Moriarty and I think he would be extremely effective as the Hulk’s greatest nemesis, the Leader.

Reason For Casting: I was absolutely floored by Tim Roth’s performance in The Incredible Hulk and I loved that interpretation of him. However, I think that Stuart Townsend has the perfect balance of menace and cruelty, as seen in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Queen of the Damned, to pull off Abomination.

Reason For Casting: David Guintoli has appeared in a string of television shows, like Eli Stone, Nip/Tuck, and now Grimm. He might seem a bit young to play the major, but I would want him to be a young, idealistic recruit to work with Ross, and through the films grows into a major (pun, of course, intended) villain.

Reason For Casting: David Bradley is best known to audiences for playing the caretaker Filch in the Harry Potter film series. I think he would be terrific as the old, crippled Geoffrey Crawley who is transformed into Ravage. He could be somebody who Banner turns to for help before he is transformed.

Reason For Casting: Tim Daly is no stranger to the comic book world, voicing Superman in virtually every good animated version of the character. However, it was not his voice that impressed me the most, but when he played a drug addict on the television show The Sopranos. I think he would be great as Bruce Banner’s father!

Reason For Casting: Vinnie Jones seems to be a popular choice for the Absorbing Man and it’s no wonder! Having been in Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Gone in 60 Seconds, and X-Men: The Last Stand, Vinnie Jones is a solid actor and I would love to see him in another comic book movie.

Reason For Casting: John Ryker might seem like a clone of Thunderbolt Ross, but I think Ed Harris would be perfect to differentiate the two. Ed Harris is a phenomenal actor who could give a new dimension to the obsessed general, in a new and exciting way.

Reason For Casting: I’m actually a bit proud of this choice. I really like Pierce Brosnan for Nick Fury. He can play cold, calculating characters, like in his performances as James Bond. I think it would be a great tongue-in-cheek if 007 played one of Marvel’s greatest spies.

Well, that’s my fan cast! Hope you enjoyed it, and please sound off down below!

Im not familiar with ur Banner pick but he looks to "Leading Man" for my taste. I dont think Banner should be too good looking. but dont argue that because you wrote highly of him so maybe hed do a great job.. I think Sellecks great for Ross

Im not feeling Mark as Doc. I chose Eckhart as Doc id Hulk (Bana) was cast and plotted by me

- I've SOMEWHAT heard of Hugh Dancy, but am not familiar with his work too much. But by your description of why you chose him, you did a great job.
- I enjoyed Jim in Legends of Ga'Hoole where he played an adventurous character. Alot like Rick Jones.
- [frick]IN' THANKS! No, but thanks for throwing in my choice for She-Hulk. She's, by far, the best choice for the character out of everyone I've seen.
- Nice choice for Leader. I'm due to check out Sherlock since it's on my Netflix cue.
- I don't know whether or not they killed off Juggernaut in X-Men III, but whether or not there's plans for a follow-up (nothing but prequels lately), I think Vinnie would be a great choice for Absorbing Man. He definitely has the attitude.
- I haven't seen Pierce in a film where he did an American accent. He's been so comfortable playing British characters. I see him as Magneto, because of his charm and ability to play villains as often as heroes (i.e. Shattered and The Margin Code).

Hey, visit your previous cast and you can check out the casts I've done.

Very cool cast, I like it a lot! The spotlight's on Andrew Scott as The Leader; never thought of that, but he was brilliant in Sherlock, and I can totally see him for the Leader. Great job! :)

@Gamma022: Thanks! :-)

@MrReese: Yeah I thought it was something pretty original and would still be kick ass!

@ager: Hmm Aaron Eckhart would be pretty awesome, but to be fair a lot of actors would be better for Doc Samson than Ty Burrell ha!

@RoadDogXXIV: You've cast Lake Bell as She-Hulk before?? Well my apologies then sir, I had no intention to steal your idea without acknowledgement! Pierce Brosnan as Magneto though, that's pretty inspired. I don't think I've seen that one yet. He would do a pretty awesome job! Who would you cast as Nick Fury?

@Jolt17: Yeah, luckily I was watching Sherlock while creating this cast! Haha talk about right time/right place.

@soundwave129: He wouldn't be a half-bad Riddler, but for me my vote goes to Martin Freeman for the Riddler. (Another Sherlock alumni, I know). Who would you want as the Leader, then?

@yankeemanf: I think JGL would be better suited as Spider-Man if he was going to be in a Marvel film, but hey, that's just me.

@TheSpiderAssassin: Thanks! :-)

@789: I haven't really seen Minka Kelly in enough to have an honest opinion. I'm pretty sure that's her at the end of (500) Days of Summer though. What else has she done?

I'd probably say Victor Garber for The Leader. After his performance as Sinestro in First Flight he's my favorite pick for the role.

Well, I didn't have Lake Bell as She-Hulk in a fancast, but I just thought of it the other day. I saw her in a variety of media, and it just hit me that she'd just be 100% perfect personality-wise. And she has the physique as well.

Be sure to check out my fancasts as well. Go to your Blade fancast to locate the links.

I really like most picks for the most part, Mark-Paul, Jim Sturgess, Tom Selleck, Pierce Brosnan, Andrew Scott all fit their respective roles. Bruce Banner picks looks fine too. I don't like Lake Bell as She-Hulk though.

Pretty Nice!

Very original!

TOM SELLECK would make a great THUNDERBOLT ROSS,
he was very similar when he played IKE EISENHOWER
on TV.

Hey, everybody's using ROADDOG'S SHE-HULK pick
before he can even use it himself.
lol
