Question for Fan Fic Nation??

I want the opinion of all you Fan-Ficers!!!

I’ve been reading a lot of fan fic stories and I’ve noticed about half contain pics of a scene/character every couple of lines while the other half do not having straight dialogue/action. Personally I have posted 2 stories of my own, “Dawn of the Divide” and “Sons of Cybertron”, which I did not include pics in.
So my question is do you guys think pics within the story make it easier to read or too cluttered?

pics are cool as long as they are good looking and not just a quick drawing for a random placement ....

gotta have pics.

especially in fan casts which is what a lot of the fan fic section seems to be.

we read comic books for a reason.

Me, I only look at pictures... it just gives the reader a "I did a lot of work" feeling.

Hhmmmmmmmm..........it depends really. If readers want pics in your stories, then sure. Give 'em. If readers prefer to not have pics in your stories, then sure. But, for me, I wouldn't prefer pics in all od stories that I read. I like to use my imagination when reading them.

Well if its a fan cast, then yes, pics are a must.

I'm not talking so much fancast but more of fan scripts.

I only put pics in my fan fics if I think it'll help the reader get a better idea of the story I'm telling. In fan casts and other info-based stuff, pics are a must.

depends, not to many people actually read the stories on here. I do visual stuff because I know most won't read it. It's disappointing because people miss out on some pretty good stuff, but I admit i do it too so....but I'm old so I got an excuse.
