After hosting the Emmys in 2009 and 2013, as well as last year's Tony Awards, Variety has revealed that actor Neil Patrick Harris will host the 2015 Academy Awards. A supporting actor in David Fincher's hit Gone Girl (expected to be getting lots of attention come awards season), the 41-year-old took to social media to confirm the news. Reactions to recent hosts have been mixed, with comedians Seth Macfarlane (Family Guy, Ted) and Ellen DeGeneres (Finding Nemo) taking a crack in 2013 and 2014, respectively, so hopefully Harris' experience leading these big events will make next year's Awards a winner.
