BOBA FETT Movie Reportedly Dead As Lucasfilm Instead Focuses On THE MANDALORIAN

We've known for a while now that Disney has cooled off on developing those Star Wars spinoff movies and now Kathleen Kennedy has reportedly confirmed that Boba Fett is remaining in the Sarlacc Pit...

You'd think that a movie about a character as popular as Han Solo would be a guaranteed box office hit but when Solo: A Star Wars Story hit theaters back in May, it ended up being a commercial disappointment. Disney forked out a lot of money on pricey reshoots and pretty much ended up making a loss so Disney has made Lucasfilm go back to the drawing board.

We've heard reports that spinoffs revolving around characters like Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi have now been shelved and according to a journalist who attended a screening of Black Panther last night which was hosted by Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, she's now confirmed that Boba Fett is no longer happening.

Instead, the studio is focusing on The Mandalorian, a new series which is set to debut on Disney's streaming service featuring a completely new character. The synopsis for that pretty much made it clear that the Star Wars franchise is moving on from Jango and Boba Fett, so this probably shouldn't come as a surprise and I guess the latter really did die in the Sarlaac Pit!

Great. The best thing about the character is the armor.

@Spock0Clock - It will probably be a black female lead too that is pushing a political agenda.
