Honest Trailer For The STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS... Trailer

The Screen Junkies guys usually wait until a movie has actually been, y'know, released before lampooning it - but they made an exception with the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which has garnered a serious amount of attention. Click on to check it out...

Screen Junkies took a slightly different approach with their latest Honest Trailer, as instead of their usual voiceover guy taking shots at elements of the movie - which to be fair, would be a bit difficult given that they haven't seen it yet - they've elected to dub the characters over and make it a parody of fan-reaction to the prequels, and the ridiculously high expectations that have been placed on J.J. Abrams to finally deliver the goods. Pointless snark or valid commentary? However you want to view it, it is pretty funny.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters December 18, 2015. The new movie is directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams, and features a cast including actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker. The film is being produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk, and John Williams returns as the composer. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is Episode VII in the Star Wars Saga.
