STAR WARS: Lawrence Kasdan Confirmed To Write BOBA FETT Solo Movie?

We already knew Kasdan was writing one of the standalone Star Wars flicks for Disney and co., and now the Schmoes reckon they've confirmed that it'll be the solo adventures of the galaxy far far away's most notorious bounty hunter. More past the jump.

Although it still hasn't been made official, the rumor mill has claimed time and time again that one of the standalone Star Wars movies in the pipeline will focus on infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett -- and now a source for our pals at the Schmoes Know.com seem to have conformed it. Not only that, they reckon legendary Empire Strikes Back (the movie in which Fett debuted incidentally) screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan will be on writing duties. This isn't the first time we've heard the rumor, but, the Schmoes are also hearing that Kasdan will be taking some influence from one of the Expanded Universe stories. Now that does not mean a direct adaptation of "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" or whatever, merely that he'll be using certain elements from some of the Boba Fett tales that are already out there. We already know that both Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and Josh Trank (Chronicle) are taking the helm of two of these standalone movies...will one of 'em wind up with Fett? More at the link below.
