After becoming the highest-grossing movie in domestic box office history earlier this week, Spider-Man: Brand New Day's theatrical run has been extended until November 16.
The blockbuster originally opened on July 31, with preview screenings taking place on July 29. Even with Spider-Man: Brand New Day slipping down the charts, Sony clearly feels that there's still money to be made from the web-slinger's latest MCU adventure.
With a big-screen run set for over three and a half months, this is the longest theatrical run for a Sony release since Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.
What does this mean for Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Digital and 4K Blu-ray releases? It's been reported that it would hit 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 17, 2026. Judging by that date, the movie should have arrived on Digital platforms between October 6 and October 20.
However, this latest update—and the fact that November 17 has been removed from many listings—suggests Sony's plans have changed.
Spider-Man: No Way Home opened in December and hit Digital in mid-March, so chances are we're now looking at a November Digital debut and a December Blu-ray release, getting it in stores in time for the holidays.
It took seven months for Spider-Man: No Way Home to arrive on streaming for free, which means you'll have to wait until at least February 2027 to watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day on Netflix. And if you're waiting for a Disney+ debut, that's typically 18 months after Netflix, meaning August 2028.

Hopefully, we'll have news on special features and deleted scenes soon. As far as we're aware, nothing too major ended up on the cutting room floor, though featurettes and a Director's Commentary could provide plenty of insights.
