Episode 2 of Lanterns, "Trust Fall," premieres on HBO Max tonight, and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has shared a brief new teaser. The promo doesn't feature any footage, but does show a version of the show's logo with a bird.
Fans have been speculating about what this could mean, but as you may recall, Aaron Pierre recently revealed that his favorite construct his character, John Stewart, creates in the series is a bird.
We also have some more stills, along with a series of DC Comics Lanterns-themed variant covers, one of which gives us another look at Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) in his GL costume.
So far, we have only seen Jordan suited up in the flashback scene with a young Stewart watching the hero's TV interview. In the series premiere, Hal tells a fan that he only wears the uniform on "special occasions," comparing donning the costume to wearing a tie outside of working hours.
We haven't seen John in his costume (he may not have been given one yet), but he is expected to suit up before the season finale.
