BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS Complete Edition Coming This August?

Thought you'd seen the last of Warner Bros. Montreal's Batman: Arkham Origins? Think again! According to Amazon, "The Complete Edition" will arrive this August on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Warner Bros. Montreal's 2013 prequel Batman: Arkham Origins met with mixed to positive reception, and after the release of its Mr. Freeze-centric DLC "Cold, Cold Heart", most fans assumed it was the last we would see of it. Well, according to Amazon Germany, that's not the case. They have listed Batman: Arkham Origins Complete Edition on their site for 39,95 euro on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and 29,95 euro on PC. Other than the release date of August 21st, 2014, no other details have been given. However, the reliability of the source and box art, as well as the fact of past games in the franchise being repackaged with all DLC as "Game of the Year" editions, lean towards legitimacy. Stay tuned for more, if this is in fact the real deal.

Anyone know if this game is any good? Arkham City is one of my favorite games of all time, but I stayed away from this one due to the lack of Rocksteady.

I loved this game. I experienced no glitches, no problems, just enjoyed the story, characters, design and combat. A lot of the same in terms of Arkham City, but I found the familiarity comforting.

@ Jollem

I only experienced one glitch but it was soon fixed after a update so I did not mind it at all.

HAHA! Finally! I thought that I was going to force myself to buy plain old Arkham Origins and buy all the DLCs one by one (Steam Sale), missing some exclusive skins :/

Complete edition? What happened to releasing a complete game in the first place?

Lol why even bother releasing this? This game was the video game equivalent of...Digiorno pizza. Like it tastes good while you eat it but its still pretty shitty. Idk with Arkham Knight coming out who's gonna buy this?

The game was surprisingly well written, had great art direction, solid voice acting, but unfortunately, offered nothing new in terms of gameplay. After having City expand so largely in that department, it felt like a big bag of "meh" to have practically the exact same gameplay here. Not to mention, playing as Deathstroke didnt feel much different when compared to Batman. At least not in the way that the other DLC characters felt in City. Oh well...

TheCaptain - Well it's just tradition that they release a GOTY/Complete edition for each game. Heck Arkham Knight will without a doubt get one, also there are people who do wait for these complete editions to come out instead of buying them day one. With your last remark, this is being released near the end of August and we don't even have a solid release date for Akrham Knight.

So even if you get Arkham Origins in August, you still have time to save money for Arkham Knight as there's still several months left before the later is released.

The title alone is disrespectful to video games. How about these developers release the "complete edition" at launch.

The title never hit the sales Arkham City enjoyed - but then that's their own fault for dropping Rocksteady and trying to do it in-house at shitty Warner bros Interactive.

Bring on Arkham Knight and the return of Rocksteady.

I enjoyed the HELL out of this game. Loved it.. & Didn't get any glitches on my 360. I went in expecting to after reading about how the game was buggy and all of that. So I lowered my expectations only to be suprised. Kind of angry I gave away my 360 when I got my PS4. Might have to get this on PC to get that Mr. Freeze add on!
