Batman spent most his night making flame bat graffiti. Lolz

@Thewolfx Actually we never see who makes it, he could have instructed people to make it, to signal the people that he is back and the war is about to start.

How would Batman instruct anyone else to make a bat signal on a bridge? Honestly, the only explanation is he took precious time out of his day and used the Bat to do it.

I'll easily admit it's one of the most illogical things in the entire trilogy, but I think that was the point. I can look past that. It was fan-service and at the same time, serving as a message. Batman is supposed to be a symbol, and a lot of the themes in the trilogy revolved around that. What's more epic than a flaming bat symbol on a bridge?

Logically, it makes no sense. Thematically? Pretty awesome.

@SauronsBANE1 Sorry, my point was badly explained. What I was trying to say, is people seem to be complaining about this bit based on assumption.

People say: "Batman spent ages painting that Bat-Symbol"

Well, did he? If he did paint it, did it take him ages or 2 minutes? Was there a spray device on The Bat, that be programmed to spray pre-designed pictures?

My point is the complaint over this scene is based on the an assumption as we don't see how it got there, I am sure if you got a group of people together in a room, and said "Right how'd that Bat-Symbol appear" after 5 to 10 mins you'll get a hundred different ways, all of which could have happened in the film as we don't see how it got there.

What pisses me off about the Bat symbol is that after it lit up the citizens of Gotham should've just charged out of their houses because "[frick] YEAH BATMANS BACK" and get the courage and hope that they didn't have.

I still remember seeing the scene in TASM where Peter throws the football and dents the field goal and NO ONE THOUGHT IT WAS STRANGE? That movie was filled with shit like that.

Im sorry. I understand that everyone has an opinion but tasm was not sh!t, I was reading spiderman comics since I was 6 (which is probably before half of you lot was born)
Tasm is the closest movie to the comic ive seen in a long time, better than sam raimi's cheesey love fest trilogy, spiderman was a whimp in the whole trilogy and the end of the third one was f@#king ridiculous. I thought at one point spiderman and sandman was going to hug and start a superhero/villian outreach programme.
Yes Tasm had its flaws but its a comic book movie.

the whole movie is about a kid with spider like powers and a 8 foot lizard for f@ck sake, if you want realism stay away from comic book movies!

TDKR and TASM where both great spectacles to watch. However there where some silly moments in both of those films.

I think the idea of Batman "having other people paint his graffiti" for him is hysterical. Hearing that voice try to communicate the concept of what he wanted them to do would be terrific!

"TAKE THE CANS AND RRRAARRGHGBLLLEERAAARRRGH THE WALLRRAAAGGGHH!!! THEN TAKE THE STERNORAAAGHH AND RETRACE THE IMAGEAAARRRRRAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!! THEN LIGHT IT..............................RRRRRRAAAGGGRRRBLEEERRRGHGBBBBRRRRGGGGHHRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

THOSE are the dumbest moments? WTF? You guys get the dumbest gripe award for suggesting that its' possible to cut holes into solid stone with the expressed purpose of filling them with wooden studs perfectly sculpted to fit said holes without tools. Was there a hardware store in that pit that I missed? What were they supposed to cut the holes with; their fingers?

What about the fact that the Scarecrow sentences people to their deaths via exile over the unstable iced harbor, but Batman has no problem walking around on it when he's there to rescue Gordon and his coworkers? He doesn't even walk carefully.

There many more things, but you guys choose the most explainable of them? Connors has only one arm. There's no way I'd think my teacher was the Lizard, if I didn't have foreknowledge. I know lizards regrow limbs, but how does that explain why Connors still doesn't have an arm? It's contradicting information. So he has a rash near the back of his neck? I don't look at people's necks when I'm talking to them, because I'm not a vampire. The rat just sealed the deal.

Dude! -Even in the comics Spidey gets shot by the police. His sense doesn't control him, it just warns him and how he reacts depends entirely on him. When spidey sense is going wild from multiple threats it's that much more difficult....and it's kiiinda hilarious that we're trying to apply science to a fictional character's hyper-fictional abilities. I think there was a moment like this in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Will blackmailed Hilary into doing his every wish and she had to read him a Spider-man comic and he explained his spidey-sense to her.

@Jollem-
I loved TASM but hated TDKR. Great acting, great characters, but the plot seemed overbloated and pretentious. A lotta unnecessary characters. The Dark Knight gets crowded outta his own movie so that his climactic 'Rise' is sorta short and typical. Batman's the Master of Sneak attack; the fire signal took that element away from him. It would've been much more of a pleasure for Bane to suddenly find his goons disappearing and the cops suddenly released and closing in from all sides. Talia Al-Ghul didn't need to be in the film at all; Catwoman coulda had more screen time. My thoughts, anyway. I did, however, like TASM more than Avengers. Avengers was fun but I seen it before. Not very clever. Characters aren't very deep. The world of The Webbed One is more relatable to me.

I have no strong feelings towards TASM whatsoever. 'twas kinda enjoyable, but I wasn't all that enthusiastic about it, and I'm not too excited about the sequel tbh.

TDKR, in my opinion, is probably Nolan's worst movie. There are few movies I was looking forward to so much only to leave the cinema shaking my head in disbelief about what'd just happened.

It's not, to be clear, a dramatically bad movie, just not a very good one. I'd likely have made my peace with it shortly after I'd seen it, if not for the people calling it a "masterpiece" or, even better, an "intellectual masterpiece". (-_-)p

These guys are too friggin annoying to listen to. I didn't even bother with their part on tdkr, I gave up.

TASM ending was craaaap, but others posted comments citing more ridiculous moments than this dumbass video...so, fail.
