ECHO Teaser Could Be Online VERY Soon - Here's What We're Likely To See

Though nothing has been officially announced, Marvel Studios is rumored to debut the first teaser trailer for Echo either tomorrow or over the weekend, and we have a possible description of the footage...

Upcoming Disney+ Hawkeye spin-off, Echo, may not be up there among the most anticipated MCU projects on the horizon, but fans are looking forward to seeing Daredevil back in action, and it sounds like Marvel Studios will be counting on the Man Without Fear's popularity when it comes to promoting the series.

Though nothing has been officially announced, several online scoopers believe that the first teaser for Echo will be released online very soon, possibly even at some point tomorrow or over the weekend.

If this is accurate, we may get a brief confirmation promo later today, but for now, we may have some idea of what to expect from the teaser.

According to Can We Get Some Toast, we will see Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and a young Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) getting some ice-cream in a flashback. The vendor somehow insults Maya due to her deafness, which does not sit well with the Kingpin, who "fixes the situation." Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is said to appear, but there's no mention of how he'll factor in to the footage.

"Marvel Studios presents Echo in which Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) struggles to reconnect with her Native American roots while balancing aspirations tied to a life of crime as successor to the brutal legacy of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) aka Kingpin," reads the most recent synopsis. "In the first episode, we are introduced to Maya Lopez and her struggles."

In addition to Cox, D'Onofrio and Cox (Charlie), the show will also star Chaske Spencer as Henry, Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Graham Greene as Skully, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, Devery Jacobs as Bonnie, and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez.

The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez (Cox), whose ruthless behaviour in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.

Echo was originally scheduled to premiere later this month, but was recently pushed to January 2024, though no exact debut date has been announced.

What we’re likely to see… another mid disney+ show? Haha
Variant
Variant - 11/2/2023, 1:43 PM
@tmp3 - The only truly mid project was Secret Invasion. Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk was divisive but a lot of folks liked those shows. Everything else has ranged from good to great. This is just the truth of the matter.

@Variant - Ms Marvel and She-Hulk weren't even actually divisive outside of Twitter and shitty website comments sections. They're simply widely considered to be good-to-great.

@Variant - The truth of the matter sounds a lot like an opinion, ironically enough.

Sure a lot of people liked Ms Marvel and She-Hulk. But a lot of people hated them too.

And Ms Marvel was the lowest watched show on D+ until Secret Invasion. Which is even worse, really, because that means people didn't even care enough to bother checking it out.

The potential dynamic between Kingpin and Echo interests me. This could be something special. But I don't have too much confidence in their shows that were finished pre-strike

@Origame - It IS time to stop. It's time for you to stop complaining every day of your life. I think everyone here would greatly appreciate that.

@Variant - the white knighting is strong in you 🤣

Variant - 11/2/2023, 1:52 PM
@Origame - Hmm...let's see. Would I rather be a white knight or a whiney little twerp?

Dude, you really need to stop the whining every day. Who tf wants to be around that? You're the friend that people stop inviting over because you just bring the mood down. Do yourself a favor and find some damn positivity in your life. Jesus...

@Variant - let's see, speak my mind or defend secret invasion...

Ps. I specifically chose that because you actually said you didn't like it, but still went on to defend it. The fanboy is too strong in you.

@Origame - I never said I didn't like it. I did like it. I just didn't love it as I thought I would. And I would consider it "mid" when it had the potential to be excellent.

I know your brain only works in binary fashion, but I'm able to think in more than just polar opposites. I'm also not a little bitch so I don't complain about everything that doesn't satisfy my every expectation. I know how to take the positives from something and just enjoy that and move on with my life.

And when "speaking your mind" is only ever in the form of bitching and moaning, I'd say that's a pathetic mind set to have and still much more inferior than being a "white knight", as you like to call it.

@Origame - 🙄😄 SERIOUSLY!!!

You send a joke about its time to stop, and this guy chimes in like you're the problem.

Face it Variant: the shows are not great, or good. They have hollow dialog, forgettable arcs, and miminual consequences. If you are interested in them- GOOD FOR YOU.

It's not cool to get this defensive when others are not so invested. To myself and many others, this is unimportant, uninteresting, no replay value, time wasters. Let it go.

@Variant - nice backpeddling. You said you didn't like it dude. Even specifically called it a disappointment. And you said this in response to the claim that you can't find anything negative about the mcu. So this backpeddling just shows how much of a fanboy you are. The only thing bad you can say about it is one of the shows was just ok 🤣

And again, I say plenty positive. You've deliberately ignored when I praised other movies (including in the mcu world don't act like I'm only targeting them).

Variant

@Origame - None of that was backpedaling. It was clarifying because you've proven you have zero reading comprehension. I NEVER said I didn't like it. Yes, I was disappointed it wasn't better, but all in all I still liked it okay. That's really not hard to understand.

And no, I've never seen you praise anything in the MCU. I literally only ever see you whine. AND you have that reputation here. So it's not just me. You make yourself look like that.
Variant
Variant - 11/2/2023, 5:47 PM
@KennKathleen - "The shows are not good". You do realize your personal opinion isn't somehow fact right? You do realize all the shows aside from Secret Invasion reviewed well in varying degrees right? Even She-Hulk.

As for Origame, you must be new here. I'm not defensive at all. All the dude ever does is whine and complain. It's like a goal or something to never skip a day of complaining. So this isn't even about a single post. And PS, you're siding with the guy that has a reputation here for being a racist. And the guy who tried to argue that catcalling isn't objectively bad. Lol. Not the dude I'd be siding with.
Origame
Origame - 11/2/2023, 5:50 PM
@Variant - 1) well maybe if you actually said you liked it instead of calling it a disappointment. @mountainman, if someone calls something a disappointment, and that's all they say on the matter, would you think the guy likes it?

2) we've been over this. I have and will continue to praise everything guardians of the galaxy related. That's been consistently good and didn't change by phase 5. I've also praised black panther, hence my issue with the new movie being that they didn't recast tchalla and just threw away that whole story arc. I've praised iron man1, winter soldier, all the avengers especially infinity war. Seriously, I've even praised this sh!t on articles you've commented on. Hell, you even commented on one of them acting surprised I was actually praising something. But instead of admitting you were wrong about me, you just insisted I did that to save face.

Meanwhile you still can't say anything bad about the mcu beyond one of the shows was kinda disappointing but still good. You're a shill and a fanboy. A toxic one at that.
Variant
Variant - 11/2/2023, 5:51 PM
@bobevanz - Shows how much you know about me. And my friends. I don't nitpick anything because my friend group in real life doesn't fvcking complain like a bunch of losers. And I'll let you ask my wife about "being ditched on prom night". Lol. I assure you I have no problems in that department. Meanwhile, your buddy here tries to defend catcalling. I'm sure the ladies really love that quality in a boy.
Variant
Variant - 11/2/2023, 6:20 PM
@Origame - "Disappointing" is relative. It simply means it fell short of my expectations. But it didn't fall so short that I utterly disliked it. You are trying to twist my words here and intentionally ignore all context I've ever given to my comments.

Also, I'm not sure why you're bringing @mountainman into this. He and I actually have productive discourse despite having differing opinions. You know, that thing I've told you about. That you don't always have to just position yourself as a whiney little brat...

As for being a shill and a fanboy. Um, I'm a fan, yes. Just a normal fan. And last time I checked we're on a CBM site. If there's one place for me to come and express my enjoyment for Marvel films it would be here. So I think you're confused...

And lastly, do you see how you ridiculous you sound? You're blaming me for not saying anything bad... How miserable of a person must you be to take issue with that. But also, it's not even true. I'm just a positive person who enjoys life. I don't sit here and dwell on the things that bother me about the film franchise I like. But truth be told, there are a ton of things that annoy me throughout all the projects. Ready for this?

- Thor 2 was boring as hell; way worse than Eternals.
- Cap's suit in Avengers 1 was corny.
- Iron Man, the face of the franchise, had the worst trilogy. Iron Man 2 and 3 didn't age well at all.
- Hulk's arc was shaping up to be pretty epic then fell off with smart Hulk; he desperately needs a redemption arc that is hopefully in the works since Marvel Studios supposedly got distribution rights back.
- The MCU has a bad habit of killing villains way too soon.
- The "backstory" to how Nick Fury lost his eye is absolutely fvcking stupid. And the writers are idiots for thinking that was funny.
- Thor 4 went overboard with the humor
- MODOK was poorly designed and the worst part of AM3
- She-Hulk was a good show but had disconcertingly bad CGI in a lot of parts

I'm sure I could find a few more things but the big picture here is this: the list I could write about the things I love about the MCU is significantly longer. I don't expect the MCU to be perfect; I can look past the few issues it has because the amount of positive takeaways is much greater. And the fact that all of Phase 4 reviews, by consensus, better than Phase 1 and 2, tells me the people being dramatic about the MCU aren't taking an objective look at this.

And at the end of the day, it's just really not that hard to not complain so much. No one likes a complainer.
