Welcome, I am Darkknight2149. I am primarily a fan of comic books and their various adaptations, as well as horror and other classic film franchises.

As far as the "DC vs. Marvel" rivalry goes, I'm really not biased when it comes to studios and publishers. Preferences are fine, but I've never understood the basing of opinions purely by the studio/publisher that makes it.

@NetmanTripleSec The Alfred in this show is based on the version that appeared in the graphic novel, Batman: Earth One, instead of mainstream universe Alfred. The version that is set to appear in the Gotham TV series will also be based on Earth One. As for Batman's costume, I didn't like it either. Even as a fan of the show, I must admit that character models are not it's strong suit.

One of the best Batman shows ever made. It's sad tgat all of the fanboys can't let go of Batman: The Animated Series and accept anything not made by Bruce Timm. "I don't like it because it's different." That's the point.

XD The GL show was loved by fans. It was only pulled down because it wasnt getting the views. And so far all of your complaints have to do with how it looks different from the Batman you're used to i.e. New Alfred.

And just because you live the Timmverse doesn't mean you can't enjoy anything else. Not everything has to be one sided.

I wish they could go back to his old style. Never liked the wannabe Lizard-look.

@BatzFTWfan

I agree that B:TAS was phenomenol, but it wouldn't have been nearly as successful if it only lasted one season. So it's a shame that this show and GL won't get another chance to expand on it's already proven potential. The reason DC can't make shows that good anymore is because fans won't give them a chance. Then there's also the fact that CN is terrible at handling their shows.
