Multiverse Figure Gives First Look At BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT's Robin

Multiverse Figure Gives First Look At BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT's Robin

Rocksteady is attempting to create the ultimate Batman experience with the upcoming Arkham Knight, and now it's confirmed that his iconic sidekick will also be making an appearance. Check out some low-resoultion photos of a new figurine displaying Robin's redesigned costume.

Robin made a short appearance in Batman: Arkham City back in 2011, and it appears he's returning for Rocksteady's sequel. Lo-res shots of a DC Multiverse figurine display the redesigned Boy Wonder (though he's clearly much older than a boy), and though many may say that toys do not always accurately represent the actual game, the three figures revealed so far (Batman, Two-Face and Red Hood) are all confirmed characters within Arkham Knight. It's not packed with detail, but it does give us a good idea of the colouring and scaling. The Robin here will likely be Tim Drake once again, but probably will not be confirmed until a later date. What are your thoughts on the design?

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.

Cool. Glad it's not a major departure from the original suit being that this game supposedly takes place a year after Arkham City

Still looks like Robin, but not completely ridiculous like the original costumes. I approve.

Arkham Origins Robin is my all-time favourite Robin design.

Seriously, the designs in Origins are just incredibly good.

It looks like the Arkham City design, which is good.

@TheTrueBatfleck
I loved Arkham Origins; it was only a little bit buggy for me, and kept up the great quality of the last two games. It wasn't quite as polished and refined in terms of story, combat and graphics, but the fantastic designs and cutscenes made up for it. I thought those cutscenes were just incredible.

Keen as a bean for Arkham Knight to come out.

Asylum and City were brilliant.

@HurricaneXavier
No, I'm being serious. I love the design. I believe it's a fan-made render so it's not the best, but there were no clear pictures of the costume on Google Images.

If they ever do a live action Robin in the DCCU i'm hoping that the studio will adapt that look of Robin.

@ MexicanChinaman

I think it is Tim. He was in that brief cutscene during Arkham City, so I think its quite possible we'll see him again, considering its one year after the events of Arkham City.

@ THEDARKKNIGHT1939

Agree with you. I like the modern looking armour- not too far off from the comics design but grounded in reality. If they ever bring Robin back into the films, I'd like to see something along these lines. Just no Bat-nipples, Bat-cod piece or Bat-buttocks!
