The Batman - Part II: The GCPD Chases Down The Batmobile In Latest Set Videos

We have some more videos from the set of Matt Reeves' The Batman - Part II, as Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight is chased down by GCPD vehicles...

The Dark Knight has definitely done something to get the GCPD's undivided attention.

As filming continues on the Glasgow set of Matt Reeves' long-awaited The Batman sequel, we have some new photos and videos featuring a lot of police vehicles and a SWAT team chasing down and surrounding the Batmobile.

Yesterday, we caught a blurry glimpse of a blonde woman in the Batmobile's passenger seat. There is a good chance this is Scarlett Johansson's mysterious character (she is the only main female cast member, after all), but the quality of the footage makes it difficult to tell for sure.

Whoever the woman is, there's speculation that Batman is protecting her from the cops, hence the large-scale manhunt.

Rumor has it that Johansson will play Poison Ivy, or at least some variation on the flora-obsessed villain. Initial reports indicated that she had been cast as Gilda Dent

As for Sebastian Stan's character, after the quote attributed to the Thunderbolts* star was retracted from the French publication that claimed he said he was playing Harvey Dent, Jeff Sneider has doubled down on his previous report that Stan has actually been cast as twisted serial killer Victor Zasz in this week's episode of The Hot Mic.

Check out the videos at the links below.

Earlier this year, Reeves officially announced the movie's main cast on social media.

The filmmaker confirmed that Robert Pattinson (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Jeffrey Wright (Jim Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth), Colin Farrell (Oz Cobb/The Penguin), Jayme Lawson (Bella Réal) and Gil Perez-Abraham (Officer Martinez) will reprise their roles, alongside new cast members Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Sebastian Koch and Brian Tyree Henry.

Reeves did not reveal the characters Gotham City's new additions will play.

After several previous delays, The Batman - Part II was scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 1, 2027, but was recently pushed back to February 18, 2028.

Loved the first film, especially how it went out of its way to explore the Detective aspect of the character more than any previous Batman film.

Cool…

Given how much police seems to be after Batman , I wonder if he came across this blonde character (if it is ScarJo’s character) at a scene of a murder of a very rich & powerful person but sympathetic to her plight tries to save her but then the GCPD gets on their tail huh?.

Anyway , hopefully this car chase is as good if not better then the one in the first film…
