If Marvel's sorcerer supreme fought DC's sorcerer supreme (or whatever Dr. Fate is, exactly), who'd come out with the heavyweight title belt for magical tough guy?

They both use spells, and they're both the go-to magical guys for their respective universes (though Dr. Fate's status as that kinda guy has been... tricky... over the years).

But... if they fought in a magical showdown, what guy would come out on top? Dr. Fate or Dr. Strange? The holder of the Eye of Agamotto or the Helm of Nabu? Cast your vote

Strange would find a way to use the helm against whoever it's wielder is.

I thought Strange had to cast spells through speaking them. If that is the case, he wouldn't be able to keep up with Dr. Fate, as Fate doesn't need to speak the spells.

I would like to see the winner of this up against Mordru.

Plus, Strange doesn't even have the Eye of Agamotto anymore, he passed it to Voodoo. Without that, I don't see Strange standing a chance against Fate.
